What is BasketDudes?

BasketDudes is a "Free2Play" multiplayer Basketball game.

You can download and play BasketDudes for free, creating your own basketball team and competing against other users in online matches.

In BasketDudes you can take part in tournaments, gain experience and get objects to improve and personalize your team.

Games like BasketDudes are known as Free2Play MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game).

BasketDudes is a multiplayer online game

Online games, unlike traditional video games, connect you with other users. This type of game requires you to be connected to the Internet while playing. Much of the BasketDudes content is aimed at competing with other users. In BasketDudes, you can play online matches against other players; create private classifications and organize tournaments with your friends.

In future updates, we will introduce the option of trading items with other players, and a single-player mode so that you can train your players and practice your favorite strategies.

BasketDudes is a sports role play game

In BasketDudes, you will create your basketball team by recruiting players from the World Basketball Clubs. Each player has a name, a background and a specific set of skills that define his role within a BasketDudes team.

Using points earned in the game, or by paying with virtual money, you can get new players for your team and personalize them while they are on your team. You can also equip your players in many different ways, improving their skills.

Thanks to the diversity of players and equipment, you can create different types of teams: defensive, offensive, balanced, based around a star player, etc. In order to create a great team in BasketDudes, you will have to learn in which way each character plays best, what his strengths and weaknesses are, and you will have to work on improving his skills.

Later on you will also be able to personalize your stadium and strengthen your team using items and characters specific for stadiums.

BasketDudes is a persistent game

In BasketDudes you create and control a World Basketball Clubs basketball team. Throughout your career, you will face hundreds of teams and develop your players and win titles, gaining points, talents, items, and much more along the way.

The progress of your team is saved online automatically, meaning that each time you sign on to BasketDudes you will find your team in the state in which you last left them: the same players, items and points, records and statistics. On the other hand, however, the world of BasketDudes will continue evolving even when you are not online: new tournaments will be created, new players will appear, and the competitions in which you are taking part will continue progressing until the next day, when you return to play.

The data will be stored on your computer as long as you want, so that you are able to play at the pace that is most convenient for you. Some people will play a lot to increase the level of their team as quickly as possible, while many others will play in a more relaxed way, mainly competing with their friends. The amount of time you spend playing BasketDudes is up to you, but remember that you should always put aside a bit of time for practicing sports in real life.

Play against other users

In BasketDudes you play against other users' teams. In the game lobby you can find people willing to play matches against you. There are many ways to play in BasketDudes.

You can arrange friendly matches against teams of the same level, by simply selecting the "Play Now" option. The system will find a team like yours and invite both teams to play a match. If you're looking for something more specific, you can configure the match options: time per quarter, type of match, opponent's level, etc. Also, you can challenge a particular team from the game chat, by clicking on it and choosing "Challenge"...

Evolve and personalize your team

When you finish a BasketDudes match, your team gets points called Duddies, as well as random items. In addition, each player gains experience depending on how he played that match and the team itself may level up.

Each time your team levels up, new players and items will become available for purchase at the Store. The level of your team also allows you to enter into new competitions and tournaments.

Experience makes your players more competitive and every time they level up their skills increase.

Take part in competitions

The results of your BasketDudes matches determine your team's position in the world rankings. When you win matches your rank increases, and when you lose you go down in the ranking system, a system called "ladder". You can create your own ladders to compare yourself with a group of friends, and compete amongst yourselves to be the best in your "ladder".

The World Basketball Clubs organizes competitions from time to time for different levels, in which the best teams in the WBC are invited to take part and where rewards and trophies are handed out. You can create your own private tournaments among friends just to enjoy the competition. As the number of teams in the WBC increases, new competitions and systems for private tournaments will be introduced.
