Do I have to pay in order to play BasketDudes? Is there a monthly subscription?

Signing up to Bitoon Games is free and playing BasketDudes is also completely free.

If you wish, you can pay for items or special and exclusive improvements within the game. These are completely optional and you'll never be forced to spend money to enjoy BasketDudes.

I have signed up but I can't access the website or the game

If you have signed up but can't access the game, it is probably because you haven't verified your account. All users must verify their account with the key sent to their email accounts. This step will activate your account and you will be able to access BasketDudes.

How can I verify my account?

During the sign up process we will send you an access key to the email address you indicated in the registration form. Look for the email we sent you and click on the verification link in the message.

I haven't received the verification email. What can I do?

There can be several causes and solutions for this problem:

• The email account you entered is not active. Check that the email address provided can receive emails.
• The email account you entered has an anti-spam filter. Look for our message in your Spam folder.
• Your email account is full. Delete some emails to free enough space to receive the verification email.

If none of these options solve the problem, try entering a different email account and click on Resend access key.

What do I need to play BasketDudes?

Once your account has been created, you will need to download BasketDudes and install it on your computer to be able to play.

You can install BasketDudes on a computer with these minimum specifications:

• PC running Windows ...
• Apple running MAC OSX Leopard...

You need an Internet connection to be able to play BasketDudes. You will need a broadband connection of at least 1 MB to be able to play.

Can I play BasketDudes without an Internet connection?

BasketDudes is an online game where you can play and chat with hundreds of other players. You need an Internet connection to play and you will be unable to if you are not connected.

What is Lag?

Lag is a delay that hinders Internet communications, causing the user disorientation and inconvenience.

In BasketDudes you must make sure you don't suffer too much Lag in order to play without interruption and avoid a bad playing experience. It is important to make sure you are not using P2P download managers or downloading large volumes of information while you play. The game will notify you when you or your opponent is experiencing a high Lag . If you don't correct this issue you might be disconnected during a match.

How can I improve my connection to BasketDudes?

Make sure you are not using P2P download managers or downloading large volumes of information while you are playing. A cable connection, instead of a Wi-Fi connection, slightly improves the speed of communication with other players.

Why do I sometimes have to update the game?

In Bitoon Games we are constantly working to improve our games by introducing new upgrades and content. Every now and then we provide our players with a new version to correct possible errors, solve problems and introduce new content and ways of playing.

Each time we launch a new version it produces a game update in your computer. It is a quick and simple process that lasts just a few minutes. After updating the game you will be able to continue enjoying BasketDudes.

Games that are not updated with the most recent version will not be able function properly until these updates have taken place.

What are Duddies?

Duddies are BasketDudes game points. When you play matches and take part in BasketDudes competitions you receive a certain number of Duddies at the end of the match or tournament. You can exchange your Duddies for new players, items or accessories in the BasketDudes Store.

What are Bitoons?

Bitoons are the virtual money of Bitoon Games that are used in BasketDudes. Only if you want to, you can buy Bitoons in BasketDudes and spend them on players, items or special or exclusive accessories in the BasketDudes Store.

How can I buy Bitoons?

You can buy Bitoons in our BasketDudes webpage. Remember that you must have a registered account with BasketDudes to be able to buy Bitoons.

Can I buy Bitoons from other users or sell mine?

Bitoons can only be bought in Bitoon Games and BasketDudes sites. Other forms of buying and selling Bitoons are considered fraudulent and can result in the termination of the service and the deactivation of the user account.

Can I transfer my Bitoons to another account?

Bitoons are not transferable.

Are Bitoons refundable?

We are sorry, we can not refund Bitoons.

Do I have to pay in order to play BasketDudes and other Bitoon games?

Bitoon Games is committed to the gaming philosophy of Free2Play and we want to continue providing our games for free. No prepayments or monthly subscriptions are needed. Only some special accessories, pieces of uniform and other items or improvements (all of which are completely optional and never compulsory) can be bought with our virtual money (Bitoons).

How can I change my password?

Click on the My details section, under the My account section. Here you can change your password, as well as other personal data.

Can I change my Username?

No. Once you have registered, you cannot change your Username. Think carefully when choosing your Username during the account creation.

How can I change my email address?

Click on the My details section, under the My account section. Here you can change your email address, as well as other data in your personal information. Remember that every time you change your email address you will have to confirm this change in a verification email, for security reasons. Make sure that your new email address is correct, because it is the one used to recover your password and notify you of important Bitoon Games and BasketDudes information (prizes and notifications).

I have forgotten my Username/Password. What can I do?

Click on I've forgotten my password in the login form. Enter the email address associated to your account. You will receive an email with the user information and the necessary steps to recover your password. Follow the instructions to be able to access BasketDudes again.

Will Bitoon Games ever ask me for my password?

Never. Your password is for your eyes only and you should not share it with anyone. Bitoon Games will never ask for personal information such as your password. Please do not give your password to anybody else.

What is considered Hacking or Cheating?

Hacking or Cheating is defined as the use of software or cheats to alter the game and have an advantage over the rest of the players on the server. Any attempt to manipulate the software provided by Bitoon Games, or the use of supporting programs which provide an unfair advantage, will result in being banned from the game and cancellation of the account.

How can I report abuse by another player?

Insults, threats, or inappropriate behavior is not permitted in our games. If you experience this kind of behavior from any user during the game, you can report his activity by sending an email to support@bitoon.com with the subject: Abuse, describing the incident and the name of the user who provoked it.

At Bitoon Games we strongly value good behavior in the game and we are developing tools so that users can enjoy a pleasant experience with our products.

How can I report the use of external software?

If you detect the use of Hacking or Cheating software by other users, be sure to report it by sending an email to support@bitoon.com with the subject: Hacking. Remember to provide the following information:

• Name of the user who is Hacking or Cheating.
• Date when it occurred.
• Number of the match where the incident occurred.
• A screenshot as proof.

Our Game Masters will investigate the incident and if we find any proof of fraudulent use, we will take appropriate actions.
